Hullo everyone!

this is my character Raiden. He's seventeen years old and is known as a thief. He doesn't steal just to steal, he steals to feed a family that can't feed themselves and don't have the money. (David (the father of the two children) and the children, Megan, 8, and Todd, 3.)

Raiden and them live in a cave in the forest near a town, they can't afford to buy and apartment or a house, so the cave provides some form of protection and shelter to them.

Everyone that has lived in that town is tagged with a chip/ID in their skin. The town is ruled by a man named Colborn. Colborn collects 50% of the food that is made in the town and sells it elsewhere to make a profit. The town is very poor, hungry, and there are a lot of problems with violence in the town.

People hate Raiden because he steals food, and thus called him out to Colborn when he came to town to ask why there wasn't as much food as usual.

Colborn, as punishment, throws people into challanges. the theme changes every year. And this year, the challanges have seven rounds, the theme: the seven deadly sins. Raiden was thrown in there along with Thompson, his adult friend, and Jane his other friend (also his future girl)

Raiden knows he's part of Colborn's games... but he doesn't feel that he is one of Colborn's pieces. He continues to rebel against Colborn even though he knows the man could have him killed easily.
